SeaWorld Cares about the community. For more than 50 years, we have partnered with organizations to create meaningful experiences and inspire our guests to protect animals and preserve the wild wonders of the world. Qualified non-profit organizations may request a ticket donation to help raise funds to support their mission.

Charitable Giving Guidelines
SeaWorld San Diego provides park tickets to assist non-profit charitable organizations and schools in fundraising efforts. We consider requests for donations from organizations that meet these requirements:
- Must be a non-profit 501(c)3 organization
- Must be within California zip codes 90000 to 93999
- Must have a fundraising event to benefit children, animals or the environment/conservation
- Must provide a 60-day minimum advance notice
- Only one request per calendar year per organization can be granted

SeaWorld San Diego is unable to provide charitable donations to:

- Sports associations or social groups
- Third-party requests
- Labor or political organizations
- Individuals
- Employee/ volunteer/ student recognition, incentives or door prizes
- Organizations that support activities or practices that do not align with SeaWorld’s policies
- Medical or hardship related cases (those requests must come directly from a hospital or Wish organization)
- School groups that only target a specialized program (e.g. band, sports team, drama)
- Individual Boy Scout, Cub Scout or Girl Scout troops
- Conferences, seminars and workshops


Ticket guidelines:
- If request is approved, four single-day tickets will be granted
- Requests must be received a minimum of 60 days and no more than six months prior to the event date
- Tickets may only be used for fundraising efforts
- Only one request per calendar year per non-profit 501(c)3 organization


SeaWorld will weigh each request based on our criteria. If approved, tickets will be issued prior to the event. Due to the large volume of requests, SeaWorld does not reply to every request submitted. Thank you for your understanding.
